Floor Pivots marks the levels price actually reacts to. Fib Trend Confirmation tells you whether the current trend makes a level worth trusting. Here's exactly how they're meant to be read together — not a sales pitch, the actual method.
Floor Pivots calculates a pivot point (P) from the prior session's high, low, and close, then projects two levels of resistance (R1, R2) above it and two levels of support (S1, S2) below it. These are the same reference levels floor traders used long before charting software existed — they're popular for a reason: enough people watch them that price tends to react there, at least initially.
The indicator draws all five lines automatically at the start of each session, and re-plots them fresh the next day. Nothing to calculate by hand.
A pivot level on its own doesn't tell you whether price is likely to respect it or blow through it. Fib Trend Confirmation answers that by tracking the current trend's Fibonacci retracement — commonly the .618 line — and checking whether price is holding above or below it relative to the pivot in question.
When a pivot level and the Fib trend line line up — price rejecting at the pivot while still on the "correct" side of the .618 — that's the setup the manual calls a genuine confluence. When they disagree, that's the indicator's way of saying: this level is weaker than it looks, be careful.
Floor Pivots plots P, R1, R2, S1, S2 at session open.
Fib Trend Confirmation shows whether price is above or below the current .618 retracement.
A pivot level and the trend line pointing the same way is the confluence worth paying attention to. Disagreement is the indicator telling you to expect a fake-out.
Neither indicator tells you to buy or sell. You still decide, with a clearer picture of which levels actually matter right now.
No signals, no alerts, no auto-trading. These are chart-reading tools, not a bot. If you want something that tells you when to click buy, this isn't it — the manual spends as much time on when not to trade a level as it does on when to.
